In the vaults of the Basilica of St Boniface and St Alexius in Rome, a fragment of an inscription with the inscription 'ADALBER[...]', identified with St Adalbert Slavnikovic, has been preserved. The discovery was made by the Jesuit Jozef Warszawski, who presented its photographs to the Polish Historical Institute in Rome in 1953. He considered them to be one of the most valuable Roman Polish monuments.
