Tombstone of Frederic Eichhoff and Hermina Mizerska

On pedestal stepped, flat slab with plastic cross, on slab front a stone box jardiniere on base, at head on high base, high stele widened towards top, ending in triangle with facing, topped with low urn on base; remains of fence, upturned torch-shaped posts. Inscriptions on stele (1) and on cross lying on slab (2).

Frédéric Gustave Eichhoff, born on 17 August 1799 in Le Havre, son of Vichemann Eichhoff, merchant, and Marie Salomé, née Barthel (or Burthel), linguist and philologist, professor of the faculty of literature in Paris, chevalier of the Legion of Honour from 1837.

Hermina Constance Mizerska, born at Kachaou [?] in Hungary, wife of Frédéric Gustave Eichhoff; married on 4 December 1841 in the former 7th arrondissement of Paris. From this marriage, daughter Marie Juliette Mathilde, born 10 December 1849 in Lyon, married Ernest Bourdon. She lived in the 16th arrondissement and died on 24 September 1895 in Paris at 16 rue Louis David. She was buried on 30 September 1895 at Père-Lachaise Cemetery
