Dedication of the Polish House in the Netherlands.

On the occasion of Independence Day, a ceremony was held in Brunssum on 14 b.m. to consecrate the Polish House, erected thanks to the selfless help of Polish miners and young people and the help of the World Union of Poles, the Honorary Consul G. D. van Essa of Dordrecht, who donated the wood for the construction. To the sound of the national anthem, the banner for the consecration of the Polish House was raised.

Mr Babiński opened the House and handed it over to the Union of Polish Societies in the Netherlands, at which he made a speech, referring to the anniversary of the November Day holiday and emphasising the concerted work of the Polish colony in the Netherlands in the tradition of Marshal Józef Piłsudski, as directed by Marshal Śmigły-Rydz. He pointed to the realisation of the Polish House as an example of the positive results of this solidarity. The Member concluded his speech with a shout in honour of the Most Blessed Republic of Poland, the President of the Republic and Marshal Śmigły-Rydz.
